No, its not really worth it to me, to make people suffer over a lawsuit that could have easily been avoided. Compromises could have been made, and the business could still be open and functional today.
Sad. Sounds like they had to shut down even though the other side had not yet won the lawsuit. They were ruined even if they could successfully defend themselves in court.

It's really not. All they had to do was work out some sort of alternative to fix the problem.
